Blocking Calls:

The Xperia E1 doesn't offer the possibility to easily block phone calls from a specific contact or phone number. However, you can use various applications in order to achieve this. Installing apps such as "Call Blocker" will give you a wide range of blocking options, for known, unknown and / or private numbers.

To block all incoming or outgoing calls using the Xperia E1's basic features:

  1. Open the "Apps drawer" from the home screen
  2. Tap "Settings" > "Call settings"
  3. Tap "Call barring" and select a desired option
  4. If this is the first time using the call blocking feature, you are required to enter a password. Type it in and tap "Enable"

Call Forwarding

Forwarding All Calls (Unconditional):

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "All apps" icon
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Scroll down to "Device" and tap "Call settings"
  4. Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
  5. Enter the phone number to which you wish to forward the calls. Optionally, tap "Contacts" and select a number from your contacts list
  6. Tap "Enable"

Forwarding Some Calls Only (Conditional):

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Scroll down to "Device" and tap "Call settings"
  4. Tap "Call forwarding"
  5. Select one of the following options: "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
  6. Enter a phone number to which you wish to forward the calls. Alternatively, tap the "Contacts" icon and select a contact from the list
  7. Tap "Enable"

Canceling Call Forwarding:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "Applications" icon
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Scroll to "Device" and tap "Call settings"
  4. Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
  5. Tap "Disable"

Call Log Management

Viewing the call log:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap the "Arrow" icon associated with the call log entry that you wish to view
  3. You can look up additional details under "Duration"

To reset the call log:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon from the home screen
  2. Press the "Menu" icon located in the bottom-right corner
  3. Tap "Clear call log"

Enabling / Disabling Touch Tones (DTMF):

You can enable or disable touch tones when dialing by doing the following:

  1. Open the "Settings" menu
  2. Tap "Call settings" under "Device"
  3. Mark or unmark the check box associated with "Dial pad touch tones" to enable or disable DTMF
