Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Sony device to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer (MTP) / Media device (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the computer and copy them
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Notifications / Alarms / Ringtones folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the Apps drawer on the home screen
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be stored on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
