Sanyo kantana 6650 black ribbon cable

How do you replace the black ribbon cable within the Katana 6650?
Does it have to be replaced as an assembly which would include the camera pcb?
Can you replace just the key pad without the front plastics, or does it need to come out as an assembly?
I'm looking to purchase parts. Can anyone supply a vendor name to replace this part?

I can't find much available for this phone as far as parts - you may be better off getting a new one since the parts may cost more than a new phone to purchase.
