I've seen a couple threads here for iPhone with Straight Talk but I have a question I haven't seen answered.

Is there any SIM from Straight Talk that will work on the iPhone 3G (mine is jailbroken and unlocked) besides the Nokia E71?

I want to use a cheap phone that I won't use again and not have to purchase a pricey phone (seen it for over 100$). Anything for just a cheapy phone? Thanks!

Re: iPhone 3G with Straight Talk?

As of or within the last few weeks, the Nokia E71 has not been available, a Walmart for Straight Talk, they still have the space's for it on their shelves, but no store is getting them, all other 3g or GSM (sim card) phones use a branded sim card and do not work with any other phone. A service person a Walmart eluded to me that AT&T has "asked" Straight Talk (TracPhone) and Walmart to not sell the phone because so many people are canceling their iPhone plans and going to Straight Talk, so there will be a new shipment of Nokia E71's as soon as the can get BRANDED sim cards so they will not work with iPhones...
