Hi everyone,
To start I'm new so if I say something stupid please stay with me... . I noticed there was a thread a little like this not to far back, but they seemed to have different priorities, and it seemed to kind of die when someone said wait till March, and I don't want to wait that long.
Ok, I currently have a Samsung X105, it's served me well for a year now and I think it's time for a new one. I need a good camera, I REALLY want a flip type phone, and the smaller and lighter the better. Also since I'm upgrading, which I don't do much (a year is really kind of short for me...) I would like to go all out and get something with expandable memory and some kind of MP3 player functions. Also that way I can use the card to get ring tones, wall papers, and all that other goodness to the phone, and the pictures off. A good screen is a huge plus obviously, and the more features the better, duh... .
Any suggestions? My current budget is about 300-400 dollars, but I can go higher if I feel it's worth it. I'll give something a little out on a limb looks wise a shot, but nothing to crazy. I would like to get it pretty soon, but if like the phone to end all phones is coming out in a week or two I can wait a little. O yea, and I think the forum I posted it in kind of tells that but I have T-mobile as a service provider.
Thanks for any help you choose to provide....

while your in t-mobile, why don't you go for nokia 9290 or if you want crazy phone that everything that you need is already there and very expensive, go to nokia 9500. check it to samstores.com and they carrie this kind of phone. this phone is not available in any service provider yet.

Interesting, will you have the patience and read the user guide when you get that handset with all of those complicated features, the list of the handsets showing the handset details are listed on the T-Mobile website, a high-end handset with all of the features will cost you as everyone wants to get a free handset when the mood hits then
The budget you have is good with all of the responses Ive sent of the list of available handsets Ive never seem a price beyond 400.00 but remember handsets in general because of the ever changing technology will last about five years if you want to keep up with the Jones
Looking at the actual user guide will give you an idea if the handset is user-friendly something that I do but of course working in the industry I get access to the manuals
The features that are offered such as downloaded features are downloaded to the handset therefore if you upgrade, lost the handset or its stolen you will have to download those features again at your cost
The 9290 Nokia Communicator is not what one would consider a small phone because its a PDA as well but if youre into that go for it, T-Mobile doesnt sell it but you can use it with T-Mobile service, again the more complicated the handset the more patient you have to be to learn and know how to use it good luck

you could get the samsung p735, flip, 1.3 megapixel camera, mp3 player, expandable memory with a rs-mmc card (Reduced Size - MultiMedia Card) and it also swivels and stuff, dual color displays, internal display 262k colors, external is 65k, its a sweet phone easy to use, $499

My statements and views are exactly that, my own, they do not reflect the views or statements from T-Mobile or any company i talk about.
