I have access to 2 Audiovox CDM-9500 phones that my daughter used with Verizon. I don't know if it is possible to use these phones or not. I was told by her husband that these phones didn't use simm cards. I know that this phone can be unlocked as I have seen adds to unlock them in my Google search but not sure about putting a T-Mobile simm in one.
Thanks for any info-Kirk

Your husband is right, that Verizon phone will only work with Verizon service. Verizon is a CDMA service provider, meaning they use a different technology than T-Mobile, who uses GSM. GSM phones have a SIM card and can be unlocked to work with any service provider, whereas CDMA phones are hardwired to the provider that sells them and that cannot be easily changed.
