Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to buy a unlocked phone and use a prepaid sim card from t-mobile in it?
Thanks!

Re: Unlocked phone... prepaid sim card
Sure, as long as it is a GSM phone that supports both 850 and 1900 bands. This is actually what I intend to do.

You don't strictly need 850 MHz, but I also recommend you get a dual band phone because it will have better service with T-Mobile's roaming partners.
I use my T-Mobile SIM in an unlocked Rogers Nokia 6590i. Works fine.

I got a $100 airtime card for it that I will put on the phone in February so that I get the one-year expiry and Gold Rewards.
PM me if you want my seller's eBay ID. You'll likely get a Los Angeles number too since he's in that area.
