Motorola V3X for 3 network connectivity

Does anyone know much about the Motorola V3X regarding connectivity?

As far as I can tell from the website you can connect via BlueTooth; I
assume this refers to headset connectivity.

Does anyone know what methods you can connect for data transfer, e.g. to
send SMS via your PC? Can you connect via USB lead, InfraRed, BlueTooth?

My V3x came with a usb lead and Motorola Mobile Phone Tools v4, which is
what I use to send text messages.

I haven't tried a bluetooth connection to MPT, but I can't see why it
wouldn't work..and I'm sure that there is a initial option to detect the
phone via bluetooth.

Also, as well as the headset profile, the other bluetooth services
supported are:
Audio Gateway
OBEX file exchange
DUN Gateway
OBEX object push

Additionally, the speech recognition (no need to record voice tags) is
superb!

It does work via bluetooth, and the set-up is refreshingly easy.

Hi there,
Have you tried using the phone as an internet gateway yet? If so do you
get good 3G performance? And will it connect via Bluetooth (I have a V3
and the attempt at Bluetooth on that is laughable). I want to use this
as an internet gateway for my PDA to connect over Bluetooth so any
advice you can give would be much appreciated.
