Hi all,
I want to use a dual sim card holder in my N70 which is on the 3 network.
Searched ebay which has a good choice for 2g phones but not 3g phones.
Anyone know if you can use a dual sim holder in a 3g phone, if so which one
& where to buy ?
TIA.

Hi
I recently purchased a ghost sim adapter from a guy on ebay and that
works perfectly with 2 different 3g sims in my xda exec.
With most of these newer phones there isn't a great deal of space under
the battery cover so these ghost sims require you to cut your sim card
into a tiny 1.5cm x 1cm shape and you basicially put 2 sims in the
space of 1 sim and to switch over simply power your phone on and off.
The sim adapters come with full instuctions and templates and the
cutting isn't difficult with a nice sharp pair of scissors!

Hi Andy,
I've seen the sim holders where you have to cut the sims but in the small
print they go onto say they don't work with 3g or 128k sims, so I don't
really want to cut my sims only to find they don't work.
Do you know which ebayer it was that sold you yours ?
TIA.

Hi again
I didn't want to name him on here in case of somone objecting but
seeing as you have asked it was ebay id red_ferrari_f355 who runs an
ebay shop under the name M-99 Shop.
He has the lowest prices on ebay for these and the one listed under O2
XDA Exec, XDA Atom, XDA II Ghost Dual SIM definitly work with 3
different 3G (UMTS) sims on my exec (only 2 at a time!). Others on the
xda developers forum have also used these with 100% sucess too.
I practiced cutting on a free vigin PAYG sim first and would also
advise you to put the newly cut out sim in the single sim adapter and
try your phone using just that then if that works ok do the same with
the 2nd sim and once you know they are both working put them in the
dual sim adapter.
