    Yahoo is your friend!

If you experience problems using you ISP's SMTP server, you can replace
the outgoing mail server address with 'smtp.t-email.co.uk' which will
allow you to send emails when you're on the T-Mobile network.

    hopefully its an internal one.

smtp.t-email.co.uk is working fine from my Web n Walk Pro connection.
Certain other SMTP servers appear to be blocked, although the Googlemail
SMTP server works without a problem.

Thanks to all who replied, smtp.t-email.co.uk is indeed the fella. Sadly
T-Mobile's email configurator is buggered ATM (at least, it is with IE7)
which is why I asked in the first place...

I have noticed a number of sites have problems with IE7 at the moment.
But surely that isn't T-Mobiles fault at the moment?

IE7 is still at the buggy beta stage. Try Firefox.

Not anymore, its at Release Candidate stage, as RC1 was released
recently... although admittedly its not (yet) the final release, it is
fairly close to what the final release will be like.

Not really, seems to be working fine. Turned out it was the T-mobile
configerator (is that a real word?) that was buggered at thier end rather
than anything IE7 was doing anyway.
