Three were doing a deal where you get paid for incoming calls, don't know
what the conditions are or if its available on PAYG, but check the website

Don't bother. The deal was rubbish, and didn't pay you: it gave you
credit you could use for outgoing calls.

I always thought it was a bit anti-social to do this, as I was under the
impression it cost more to call 3 than other mobile networks from some
landlines.
Yeah, I think 0870 numbers are anti-social too.

You have to top-up to use the credit you accumulate by receiving calls
and text, and even then the additional credit you acquire under the
scheme is only valid for thirty days.
Outgoing calls on the ThreePay tariff are more expensive than on 3's
standard PAYG tariff.
On the whole it seems like a pretty poor deal.
