Kyocera X2 cellphone broke

I bought my X2 christmas.. and it's been all good till now.. i just picked it up and it is a white screen but i can still use it and do everything.. i just cant see it because it's white.. did the motherboard fry..? I don't want to lose my contacts i have over 300

Hmnnn... doesn't sound like it's broke... does sound like the "white screen of death" though... memory... try a soft reset first... should be a tiny hole there somewhere on the bottom... just like on the disk drives of your computer... that would be your best bet at keeping your info...then try a hard reset (power off) then try removing and re-inserting the battery. leave it out overnight to clear the internal battery as well... or try flashing the contents of the memory... had you tried downloading something into it recently?

can u give me specific directions to the reset buttons.. all i found was a little spungy thing i could take out and i tried to stick a needle in there to poke around for a reset button but nothing happend
