I've had the phone for 2 years and I love it. I get reception with this phone where other verizon phones are struggling to complete a call. Also impressed with the battery life after 2 years.

Around a year ago, I thought I discovered a power saving feature in which the display would go completely blank until I hit the end button - turns out I was wrong. I'm no noob when it comes to electronics so I'm assuming that maybe there's a broken ribbon cable, or wire or bad solder or something inside of the phone. It will go dead and sometimes I have to bend the phone quite a bit to get the display to come back. Sometimes it will go very dim, sometimes off, or sometimes it will get comfused and the wrong things will turn on and there will be random black dots on there. If I were to take it apart, would I be risking breaking anything or what should I do to fix it?

Its a major inconvienence but I don't want to buy a new phone. I set the record for least ammount of cell phone usage for a 16 year old and I just don't want to have to buy a new phone to replace an almost perfectly good phone.

Thanks.
