Is there any way I can kill the side buttons on a Kyocera Cyclops that is programmed for Virgin Mobile short of prying them out. While in my pocket the phone very nicely turns the ringer volume so low that all I get is missed calls because I can't hear the ringer. (Are all cellphone mfgs idiots?)

Kyocera made it so the camera button is non-functional until the phone is flipped open. That's what I'd really like to see for the ringer volume buttons on this phone. Can this be programmed in and if so how or by whom?

I had a Motortola e815 and it had the same problem Eventually I got sick of missed calls and pried the buttons out of the phone which killed the ability to use the speaker phone unless I had a pin.
