Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Kyocera Hydro Air to your computer via USB
- From the home screen, drag the “notification” bar down
- Tap “Connected as…” and select “Media device (MTP)”
- On the computer, open an Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your PC
- Copy the files
- Navigate to the phone storage, and paste the files (preferably in the “Media” > “Ringtones” / “Notifications” directories)
- After the transfer is complete, click the “mass storage device” icon in the system tray, eject the phone storage, and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
Change the Phone’s Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom contacts cannot be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Incoming settings” > “Ringtone”
- Select a ringtone and tap “OK”
- Tap “Save”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification sound
