  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to the “Info” tab
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. In iTunes, log in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is done, switch to the Kyocera Hydro View and sign in with the same Google account
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection, and export them for Android use (vCard format).

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, import it using “Google Contacts”
  6. Alternatively, skip the step above and connect the Kyocera to your PC via USB instead. Then, copy the vCard file to the phone storage and import it via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The methods above require access to a computer with an active Internet connection, but you can also use third party apps to transfer your contacts without requiring a computer. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap “Backup”
  3. After the backup is done, tap “Email”

  5. Switch to the Kyocera device and open the email client
  6. Download the vCard file and import its contents using the “Contacts” application

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a p2p connection to transfer contacts and various other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. From the Google Play Store, install the same app on the Kyocera Hydro View
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
