vx6000 ringtone transfer

I have a cable for the phone. All uploading to computer is fine but when I try to drag and drop mp3 ringtones to ringers, it keeps coming up error. raceback (most recent call last):

delete the ringtones, take out the data cable. reboot the computer and try again
