There was a bad storm here today, and i was running to my car and my cell phone fell out of my purse, i realized it as soon as i got home and drove back to look for it, and thankfully my boss had found it outside and brought it in. However it was POURING outside and i'm not sure how long it was out therein the rain. Well now the screen is all messed up, sometimes it works sometimes it doesent, and the outside display hasn't worked at all since i found it. I am hoping that once the phone dries out, it will be at least mostly fixed, can anyone tell me if this is true? or if not, is the screen easy to replace? Everything else seems to be in place, my contacts and everything. Please help

screens are usally more costly to replace than just buying a new one depending on if you have insurance on you phone if you still have a problem and are either going to buy a new phone anyways just soak it in genosolve and see if that dries it out it works to clean circuitboards without damaging them but is really hard to find

If your cell phone got wet
If your phone got wet, DON'T turn it on! You can do permanent damage. Wrap it in a paper towel and take it to your local repair shop for ultrasonic cleaning IMMEDIATELY. If you can't do that, ship it these guys: http://www.FASTcpr.com and they'll do it for you. But time is a'wasting; every day that you delay makes it more likely that the phone will corrode from the inside out...
