Is bitpim required to send the "easy mp3 ringers" to my phone. Also does bitpim convert mp3 to a smaller size or something?

yes, if you dont have a prog. the ringtones arent gonna get to your phone..and bitpim is one of the easiest...ive heard.
NO..bitpim will not resize anything.
HERE is a program that will resize mp3's...its a trial so you can only do up to 60 seconds...which you shouldnt put that much on your phone anyway.

yea..you have to download the drivers for the usb cable. this is what lets the comp know that theres a usb in there.

it's kind of a biotch to do, but when that happens to me I just upload all of my sons (or wallpapers, happens there sometimes too) with bitpim, onto my computer, save the ones i want. Then I go to my phone and delete all, then just reload the ringers I want.. there may be an easier way to do this, I'm not sure. I know have read other ways to do it on howard forums.

how i do this is get all the songs i want from my computer...and send them using bitpim..but instead of selecting add i select replace.
hope it helps..Pablo Escobar Santana...

open the mp3 in windows media player, and go to file>save media as.. and then save it as "whatever.mid"

Also, make sure you're using bitpim .62 not .714 or whatever, in the newer version of Bitpim mp3 files do not show up... you can drag and drop the mp3 files into the ringer section though.
