I've already read a real easy way to convert mp3's to mp3 tones but I need a software to bring it over on a cable. Before I spring for a cable, I'd rather have a software that works or be stuck with buying Cingular's or upload polyphonic tones . I know of no site that allows mp3 uploads but that'll still cost me since I'm charged per kb. Any idea of a software for the L1200 since BitPim doesn't work per other users?

See More: So I'm assuming there's no software to push mp3 tones to L1200 including BitPim?

I posted over at Howardforums since they have a big discussion here on it.

Thanks for the info I should've credit you for the Easy Mp3 ringers. I d/led all the software and am just awaiting the software to get it to my phone. I went ahead and replied there since they say Qualcomm phones (don't know if they're related to LG) will work with QPST.

Here they say QPST only works for LG Verizon phones. I have Cingular.

Qualcomm is a chipset --- it comes with all CDMA phones, but not nokia... is my understanding... The only reason i knew my vx6000 had it is cuz there was a sticker on the back that said qualcomm.... that zeroOn1 or whatever says that ur phone doesn't work...I don't know if the 1200 is GSM or whatever, but if it is GSM than QPST won't work... and apparently there is no good program for your phone. Crap deal
