noise in ear

I returned my 1st LG6000, for a new one. I am now hearing the same sound. It is a low/high pitch computer tweaking sound if that makes any since. My daughter has the same phone, and not hearing this in hers. I have a hard time believing that I got the only 2 phones in the country that is making this sound. I know I have exceptionally good hearing, however I do not think I should have to listen to this while on a phone call. Does anyone else hear this?

..ive never heard it, all my calls are really clear. maybe you should try a whole new phone instead of the vx6000....that is if you got the money. if not i dont know what you should do besides ask for another 6000.

I am wondering if it is in everyone's phone, and I am one of a few that hear it? My other concern is, if it's this model that has this problem, I have 2, (buy one get one free), that I would have to exchange both phones, but my daughter likes hers, and she already cut the upc bar off the phone so that I can send in for the rebate (I have not sent in yet). Does anyone know how that works,(if the upc bar is cut off the box)?

Well here is an update, I returned the 2nd Lg 6000 got a Lg 7000, and I still hear the same ole sound. I think I hear something no one else hears. As long as I don't mess with the volume bar, it is okay, but the moment I adjust the volume, it starts. I guess I have very keen hearing since no one else hears it. I guess that can be good or bad
