Okay, i have a VX 4500 phone and a VX 6000 data cable that is supposed to work with the 4500 and 6000. My friend has put ringers on his 6000 and it worked but with some trouble. I don't know the manufacturer of the cable. When I try to get my phones data, it stops at an error and says it times out when transitioning from normal to brew mode. I don't know what this means and i have serched around. If anyone could give me some input on what to do or try, that would be sweet.

Sorry-- we always had trouble getting vx6000 cables to work on the vx4600. We sell a completely different cable for the 4600 using the prolific to serial USB drivers
