My apologies if this is a repeat thread. Just purchased a new LG 1400 and a serial data connection cable. My intention was to be able to take pictures with the phone and upload them via the connect cable to my computer. I did not realize the data connect cable does not come with software , thus I must get the software. I would appreciate any information in reference to getting software for this purpose. I'm new to this and need help as Cingular has no info for me in this regard. I tried LG and they said to check out "sustain" but I have not been able to fine it. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the datapilot software will only transfer pictures from the computer to the phone, it will not do the reverse, which is transfer pictures from the phone to the computer, which is precisely what I am trying to do. I'll keep an eye out, but I don't think there is any software that will do this. It would save me 10 bucks a month on data transfers from emailing pics from my phone to my comp, but it's not too big of a deal.

I have the L1400 and some "prolific" cable off of ebay, and I had to download the newest driver from prolific.com.tw in order for mine to work. I have DataPilot 3.9.0 and I can download my pics from my camera, upload pics, upload ringtones and the phone book. However, I can't upload any games and it's annoying me.

DataPilot does work with the 1400. You have to download the software update after installing the probram.

Hello, I have picked out an LG L1400 and am planning to buy it on payday. I can't get a clear read from this thread, is it possible to upload cell phone pictures (taken w/ cell phone digicam) on to a computer. I think onewaydown said that, but I'm not sure.

If it is which programs and cables do I need?

    Thanks

Which package should I get, or would it be cheaper to by the CD and cable separate?
