OK: So I went online and purchaced a data cable for my phone, and I got the DataPilot software to go with it. So, after taking an hour to update the software, I went to the communication settings, selected the data cable as the port, and tried to get the phone to connect to the computer, but it refuses to! I've even gone in and selected the phone and company, but it still refuses to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have the L1400 and some "prolific" cable off of ebay, and I had to download the newest driver from prolific.com.tw in order for mine to work. That and a bunch of reboots. I have DataPilot 3.9.0 and I can download my pics from my camera, upload pics, upload ringtones and the phone book. However, I can't upload any games, and it's annoying me.

It's important to have the right port selected. Try letting it auto-detect the phone first. Also I switched USB ports after having the same problem and it finally recognized the phone.

I'm having problems with Datapilot 3.9 also stating that the "Phone was not found".

    I have a 3rd party "prolific cable":

I've tried installing numerous drivers from Datapilot, Futuredial, QPST, etc. I also tried going to that prolific.com.tw website but it seems not to respond.

Can somebody tell me what is wrong? I think maybe my computer hasn't fully recognized my cable. I only have one new item in "Device Manager" under the Ports section, and depending on which USB slot I connect the cable it will connect to COM5 or COM6 via "Susteen" or "Prolific" description since I installed various drivers:

My procedure has been launch Datapilot, open flip phone, connect USB cable to phone, then hit Settings, choose make and model, and hit "Detect" and I get:

Somebody help? Maybe send me some drivers or something?
