Alright, I was just using my phone yesterday and just all of a sudden the screen became white washed and filled with little white lines and you can still see the screen but, its hard to make out. so my first thought was the ribbon cable, but im not sure, I took the phone apart and wiggled the ribbon cable around and no change in the screen. so could it be the LCD or the phone itself? its never been dropped or submerged in any liquid nor smashed at any point. any ideas???

Take it in to somebody that knows what they are doing. Even if it is out of warranty, at least they can tell you what's wrong with it. You start opening up and messing around inside, you'll just make matter's worse. (if that's possible)

check this site www.cellularpager.com they fix all kinds of phone. maybe your battery is defetive. some depective battery is releasing higher voltage than 3.6 volts this may cause of you lcd and some parts of your cell phone to get damage. if you have a voltage tester, test it and that's what im thinking.

I tested the battery and it measured at 3.83 Volts. However I dont know if that would be enough to mess up anything, I mean if the phone is toast I guess its toast. Im really looking into buying a Motorola V710 and they look like they have a really nice hands free blue tooth system for it. but for the time being if I can get this fixed for the time being.

yeah! .2.8 volts is enough volts to mess up your phone. it's alot better if lower that 3.6 volts

Yeah, it doesn't take much. Personally, I'd have somebody look into fixing your phone first... then look into other options.
