I am trying to use my lg 5550 as a modem with the computer. I have a data cable and software. Windows XP says the modem is working okay, but when I try to dial my ISP I get a message that there was no dial tone. My cell phone provider is U.S. Cellular. Their tech people tell me I must force the phone into analog mode but they don't support it and won't tell me how (pressing Menu then 6 zeros didn't work - wrong service code). Is there any way to do this and is that all I need to do to be able to dial in to my ISP?
