if you're not sure and don't want to risk damaging your phone just take it to a kiosk in a mall, they will do it for you...just a suggestion.

I did a quick search on Google and found a ton of sites that offer replacement faceplates for your phone. So to answer your question....yes.

As to replacing a faceplate, there are four tiny screws, usually under the rubber pads. Remove the rubber pads, and there are four tiny phillips head screws that need to be taken out. Some cover's need to be popped off. If you just take your time and pop a bit at a time, they come right off. Once you have the old faceplate off, just reverse what you did to put the new one back on.

One word of advice; work in a large clean area, like your kitchen table. Those screws are tiny and if lost, are lost for good. Take your time, put the screws and pads in something that won't tip over, and you should be ok.

it's not just a matter of dealing with four screws, you also have a ribbon type connector that's attached to the phone's display, be careful with that, if you bend it too hard there's a chance of damaging it....good luck.

ribbon????...I have replaced nine LG faceplates (every one a different model) and have never had to deal with any ribbons. What ribbons are you talking about?

There's a small ribbon type bronze tape that attaches to the faceplate, the one that feeds the juice so that the display can light up, you never seen that one Boss?
