I have a LG 1300 and noticed I had quite a few voice mail messages (30 of them). However the battery was basically dead. It died while I was listening to one of them. I had another LG 1300 phone so I took that battery (not the sim card) and put it into the phone w/ the dead battery. Now it says I have no voice mail messages.

Would changing the battery like that erase all your voice mail? Is there anyway I can get those messages back?

taking the battery out resets your phone so your messages should still be there but not the message indicator, did you call your voice mail number to confirm that you have 0 messages? you can also check your messages from a landline phone next time that happens.

I haven't tried calling from a landline phone, I will today. It says I have no new messages and then asks me for more options or to end call, etc.. Cingular said that changing the battery shouldn't delete my voice mail messages.
