I have vx8000 for verizon but for some reason verizon claims they dont offer the cellphone to pc MODEM capability (where you get internet access for your pc by connecting your phone to it). Does anyone know if this is true? If not, does anyone know what software I can use to give me the modem capability? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks.

Verizon will not tell you where/how to get the cable because they want you to buy an internet card from them. Typically you would use a USB cable from the phone to the computer, and windows would pick it up as an external modem. However, be advised the Verizon may have crippled this or other features, as the phones that they sell have slightly different firmware than a non-Verizon phone.
