did you want to add your social security and "dob" as well as some credit card numbers? minus well, you're giving out all that information and exposing your phone to being cloned...

people please do not post your IMEI/ESN numbers.

I know it's probably not very safe to give out my IMEI but I definitly know not to give out my social security # and credit card numbers I'm sorry I will not do that the method I would choose to pay someone is PayPal or a money order. Thanks for the response but I won't give out my personal info because I know you don't need it.

Thanks for trying to look out for me. I tried calling Cingular though and the lady answered me like we absolutely do not give out those kind of codes so hopefully I can find some help unlocking, my Nokia was really easy I thought it might be the same for an LG.

call again and try a different rep, now keep in mind that they will not just unlock a phone on your say so alone, you have to have a good reason like "travelling overseas for businness" that's the reason i used, when i get home i'll give you the e-mail address where you can request your code..

it let's you used your GSM phone with different Sims from different GSM providers, like T-Mobile, ATT, or prepaid Sim cards when travelling overseas, in your case since your using a CDMA provider, that would not be possible, that's the advantage of using a GSM phone/provider.

Well I'm not an expert but from my understanding you're able to put other providers other than your own SIM in your phone like me for example I have a Cingular phone with no Cingular SIM but I do have T-Mobile SIM and until I figure out the code I can't use my phone. I hope this helps you out.

Sorry for the late reply I e-mailed them and they responded pretty quick and they gave me a number so I called it and it was like the regular Cingular number so I just hung up besides I found out that the phone is restricted and I now need to figure out how to get that code any advice for that? Thanks
