OK... I have tried to access my new PM-225 using BitPim (version 0.7.34) to no avail. I can connect to PC, can dial out using Sprint Connection Manager, but BitPim does not recognize the phone.

Any alternatives? Or am I stuck waiting for an upgrade of BitPim that will recognize it?
