    I just got me a update for my mp3 player to work on my phone. I bought a SD mini card with 256MB but my phone can only play 7 songs out of 20 and then when i go to check my card memory from my phone it says i only got 231244KB, but i have a 256MB card. I don't know whats wrong can somebody let me know something.

    the phone needs to put information on the card when it formats it. So thats some of the space that's taken up.

    You need to make sure the name of the songs are not over 12 characters long, are in the proper format i.e. mp3, and there are not periods/dots in the name of the song.
