I tried calling some friend and the machine or operator (whatever it is) responds and says "welcome to verizon wireless, the number you have reached is not in srvice." Then it says something about announcement. what would this mean. My friend might have disconnected his phone? or is he out of the area at the moment? I ask this cause I have a cousin who had this phone number (from verizon, as well) and when he disconnected it the operator thing responded and it said " the number you have reached is NO LONGRER in service." (2 different things, one says IS NOT IN SERVICE and the other says IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE) Does anyone know?
thanks

...I do believe that calling Verizon is your best bet on this one... ask them what the message standard is and whether your friend didn;t pay their bill!
