    Greetings,

You can download this WAP site and upload it to your own server...free, of course.

Here's a look at some of the menus. You can download the files at Gearscout

You can view a working version of the homepage by pointing your phone to:

    http://gearscout.com/wap (PHP version)

There's a PHP version (just uses phpThumb to size and dress up images) and a non-php version. Both versions contain two filesystems...graphic and text-only and you can switch between them on the main index page of either.

I had the PHP version working on the free webhost site mentioned in an earlier post, but it isn't working anymore.

Main page, usually latest image from a network camera. You can set five different images by default and, of course, add any number of others.

Example of how the "Text-Only" Menus appear. Note the link at the bottom to switch to Graphics Menu. A similar link on the Graphics Menu lets you switch to "Text-Only."

    Graphic Tools Menu with links

Graphic Travel Menu with Lonely Planet, Google Local, FAA's website with links to all major U.S. airlines etc.

    Fun menu...

Of course, all of the links can be modified and all of the images, too.

The files should be considered pure "beta."

I've tried to test them this week. If you find problems, drop a note here or on the gearscout forum so I can take a look.

See More: WAP Site homepage/graphics or text-only
