did you just get the phone or did you have the software flashed? wma's are supposed to work with the new software. did you (starting with empty card) put disk into phone, then turn phone off then back on? then put songs in MY_MP3?

don't worry about the software. You start with a blank/empty memory card.
Put card into phone
Turn phone off then back on
Take card out
Put card into adaptor, then into card reader
open My Computer
Find your SD card (will show new drives)
Open Drive then open MY_MP3
Drag and Drop all WMA's you want. this SHOULD work if not get back to me.

Re: HELP please music how to play 8100
Here is the easy way to do it. Forget WMA format MP3 format works fine. You have to turn on MP3 format in the Service Menu. Menu (0) then (6) zeros. got to music setttings and enable MP3. Now go into Menu> Tools > Tools (1) > Shortcut Keys> Play Key (2) My MP3's. Now you can put the MP3 on to the card as OBXVZW21 says. But don't change them to WMA. You will loose quality.

Re: HELP please music how to play 8100
OB is correct. Be VERY careful when changing the settings. One mistake, and your phone becomes a very expensive paper weight.
eandras's is right on how to activate the mp3 settings. If you follow his/her directions to the letter, you should be alright. The problem comes when people start messing with other settings while in there as most didn't know that was accessable to them, and have to start snooping and/or changing things.
