anyway to add more ringtones to c1500?

so heres what i did. i took an mp3, cropped it for the part i wanted. shrunk the size. then put it on my webpage. then dl the mp3 from the webpage onto my phone
for some reason, it wont let me add more than 2 mp3's
do you think converting to wav, i'd beable to get more.
i even tried deleteing the crappy ringtones that come on the phone to add more space, but it didnt help.
everytime i dl a new song it wants me to override one of the 2 i dl'd

i think wav makes them even bigger

yea, as a wav it would be bigger. but i didnt know if there was a restriction because of the file format. i tried emailing lg.. but they never responded
