    This new LG handset being released on the 3 network looks like an upgrade of my handset...pink/silver. Anyone know if its any good?

    What country and what service provider did you plan to use the phone with? It wouldn't be a good phone for the USA because a few networks use the GSM 850mhz which the U890 lacks. It seems to have some nice features, just depends on what you want to do with your phone.

    It's cool, I live in the UK. 3 is a very popular network here as it was the first to offer 3rd gen features on its network and handsets. Like video calling etc.

    They also have really good tariff plans. I moved from O2 to 3. I used to be with Orange but they were to put it bluntly rubbish. One example of it is that with their price plans you have to pay X amount for your voice minutes each month and pay extra for text messages. Most networks offer a bundle that includes both.
