LG the V w/ Sprint?

Is it possible to use the LG the V with Sprint? I know it's sold with Verizon and I just found out the other day that you can also get it with Ntelos which surprised me, so I was just curious? Would it have to be unlocked or something or can you actually buy it and use it like you would any other phone purchased outside of the store?

Well that just stinks! I want a dern LG the V but don't want Ntelos and don't want to switch to Verizon (Their deposits are outrageous)...Grrr. LoL

Sorry, I always hate giving people the answers they don't want to hear.

CDMA carriers like to keep exclusive rights to certain models, it'll always be that way.

Why is it that the V can be used with Ntelos as well though? I didn't think Verizon and Ntelos were affiliated in any way? I used to work as an OS (Optimization Spec.) for Sprint and remember them being really stingy with things, but I was just hopeful I guess since I saw the phone could be used with Ntelos and Verizon. Blasted! LoL

Before I looked it up, I was going to say Ntelos was probably a MVNO of Verizon. That's a company that doesn't own its towers and buys airtime from a larger provider.

Edit: I don't see the V anywhere on ntelos' website for sale... but since Verizon bought so much of the ntelos spectrum, I guess their networks are compatible with each other. (Just a guess?)

Oooooh ok, I see what ya mean now. Monopolies! LoL. I think Ntelos just picked up the V because I had never seen it listed either. A woman I work with just got hers on Saturday and said the rep told her it was a new item so I don't think they've had it very long at all!
