I downloaded the latest version of BitPim 0.9.07 but can't get it to recognize my phone. I have an LG VX8100. Anyone have any ideas of why? Thanks.

Do you have your phone set to proper CPU connection (USB or serial)?
Did you install drivers for the cable?

    Re: Bitpim Question

0.9.07 recognized my VX8500 Chocolate as soon as I plugged it in. I have to imagine it contains support for the much older VX8100.

What's up. It's called TransSend .. here's the download link:

    Bluetooth.com | TransSend Download

Just download it and install it then you'll be able to use Bitpim to transfer files to & from your phone. Good luck.

    Hey Hardeez1,

Don't mean to sound stupid but how exactly am I doing this bluetooth wise. Do I need one of the little USB Adaptor sticks or do I do it through a data cable like I have been. Pretend like you are talking to a new person. I know how to do data transfer through the cable already, I was trying to figure out the way that you are supposed to to do it via bluetooth. Is it much different? Please explain! Is it similar to connecting the ear piece to the phone? Please respond! I apologize for my ignorance.
