Hello, I have the V From Verizon (Lg VX9800)

So i have the ringtones i want. but i'll email one to my phone, and i can only save it as a sound. i know i'm not the only person that has this problem. is it possible for me to take a sound saved in "My Sounds" and make it one of "My Ringtones"?

p.s. I've heard one theory is to save a sound as the ringtone for each one of my contacts. that doesn't work either.

any help would be appreciated. thanks
