Help!! got a new scan disk, 2nd time put in wont go in to my phone??

i need help

i have a lg VX8600 its a couple months old and i got a scan disk for it 3 months ago and 3 months ago i took it out and yesterday i tryed to put it back in but it sticks out and wont click? it will work if my thumb is pushing in on it. its the 2nd time i put it in the phone .

er?? does the slot have dirt in it? I would take it over to a verizon store if you can't get it to go back in. It's possible the part that clicks and holds the card in fell out.

I'm a bit confused also.

You've had the phone 2 months, you bought the scan disk for it 3 months ago, and 3 months ago you to the card out.

So, in other words, you bought the card before you bought the phone, then took it out of the phone that you didn't have yet, or took it out the same day you bought it? Is that about right? (Sarcasm....maybe not at it's finest....but sarcasm none the less)

Two things; either there is a lot of dirt/dust/build-up inside the slot, or as John said, the reader part has malfunctioned or part has completely fell out of the phone.

Also, don't force the card in...do as John said and take it in and let Verizon check it out.

let me clear some things up,

i got the phone in January, and then in end of February i bought a scan disk for it and then i put it in it and then i took it out and lost it and then i found it and now it wont stay in with out my pushing in on it, i am not forcing it in. i will take it to a verizon store
