Hi there-
I just got my LG Shine last week and the directions say to add files to the MP3 player it's jsut a matter of dragging msuic into the "sound/MP3 folder".
Well, I can't find it! I see a "sounds" folder, but that's the end of the category list. I tried putting the music there. And it sorta works. I mean, I can hear it, but not using the MP3 player, which sorta defeats the purpose of having one. The music files are only found in the "my stuff" category on the phone's menu, not "multimedia > MP3 player".
When it's connected to the computer I tried searching the device to find the correct location, using my computers search function, but it says no such location exists.
Any idea what the deal is?
Many thanks!

Re: LG Shine (KE970) - adding music
I'm not familiar with your phone model, but usually a problem like this can be resolved by letting the phone re-format your memory card. When the phone formats the card, it should create the folders that are needed. Maybe someone else will come along that knows more about your phone than I do, but this is the first thing I'd try if it were me in your situation. Let us know if that works!

Thanks for that. I feel sheepish sayig this, but I don't even know what you mean! If I were talking abotu my camera, I'd know exactly what ou mean. But I don't have a memory card in my phone. Is that obtuse of me?! DO you mean SIM card? I haven't seen a reformat option of any sort but I can keep looking...
thanks either way for your response!
