Hey im pretty new to the whole cell phone hacking technology... Heres the story. I have the LG VX8300 with Verizon, and im moving to Canada. Verizon doesnt exist up there, but i want to use the same phone with a different company plan. i was told i need to unlock it for other companies.

Id like to know the steps to doing this, and if i should only do it once my current plan is canceled, since i dont know if it will affect it.
