Wont Ring

I downloaded my own ringtone using the method on the page below. It played fine in the phone, but whenever someone calls me, it wont ring. It just shows the call id screen as if the phone was on silent, but its not. Ive had it turned ALL the way up and still nothing. I know the factory tones work becuase I have one set for my messages and it plays. Anybody got any tips?
