OK, how? do you work quick text?

I just got a LG ax8600. I know I am years behind on the bells 'n whistles of cell phones, but was trying to catch up. I am not understanding the "quick text" feature.It isn't a t9 input method, right? all that I can do is get to the QuickText list, and can do nothing with that list?I was going to make a whole list of quick text to text with, but how do ya poke it into a what?text message? notepad? How do you use it?/??(really,lol)
( I just got it and am frustrated, and haven't found a 10 year old yet to show me how to work it)

I think you should activate textquick then you scroll it.With this I can give this info. only.

easy and im not 10 when you send a text message in your sent folder open the one you want to save the text from ie inbox or sent open now you see erase send options push the options key see save quick text save it. now you want to send a quick text open new message txt message add contact scroll down to message you see erase send options push the options key see add scroll quic down to quick text and scroll down to the one you want to add now these direction are for when the phone is open and using the key pads and the buttons on top mine are silver with a red mark in the middle hope this helps
