I found this on www.lgcomunnity.com with a bunch of other "How To's"

How to sync contacts from Microsoft Outlook to your phone using Bitpim

    1. With the phone detected in Bitpim, follow the subsequent steps:
    File> Import> Outlook Contacts
    2. When the Microsoft Office Outlook alert box pops up, allow access to your stored e-mail addresses in Outlook by clicking the Allow access for… check box and then click Yes.
    3. When the Import Outlook Contacts box appears with a listing of the stored contacts in Outlook, click Merge at the bottom of the page.
    4. Then, in Bitpim, click the Send Phone Data icon and check the PhoneBook box.
    5. Press OK to sync with phone.

I used BitPim to update my LG EV3 phone and now when I click on an entry in my contacts the phone reboots itself. i can not see the detail contact entry, I;m headed to the Verizon store today. I'm in the 30 day trial and will probably opt out. Thinking about trying ATT. I want a service that allows me to update my own phone from outlook, does not block downloads of any kind etc

What phone did you have bitpim set to? I've heard of this happening before - the only way around it is to reset the phone to default.
