Hi,
I don't really plan on using my VENUS as a portable music player - I'd just as soon use my dedicated mp3 player for that.
My question is this: does using a memory card increase the capacity for stored ringtones and pictures? Do I need to do anything to get the phone to be able to recognize and access the increased storage provided by the card?
Thanks - just got the phone a couple of days ago and I love it!
I was a little concerned that I couldn't crop an mp3, send it as a photo attachment and save it as a ringtone, but by converting the clips to either WAV or MIDI files, I can do the above with no trouble.

Re: Using the microSD card in a Venus
Sorry don't have a Venus. But here's a thought: even if the phone doesn't allow you to select ringtones for use direct from microSD, having the microSD with you you can just swap on/off the ringtones you want into internal memory, and then select them for use.
