VX9800 Ringtones can't download

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere before. I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have the VX9800 and have been trying to download/send ringtones but it comes up w/a message saying that my phone doesn't support ringtones.

I bought the phone new/never used from EBay and this is the second problem I've had w/it. The first being that the inside keypad won't light it's flickered off/on a few times but thats it. Thankfully I purchased ins. too just hoping it covers it.

Is there an application that I need to get for the phone to format it to accept ringtones? I'm looking for a couple by a particular artist and there aren't too many that I found online but when I finally found a site w/a few they won't download. Thanks.

Thank you soo much for the link to the guide. Ofcourse though I'm having trouble understanding any of that jumble.
