HI,
i made a ringtone, transferred it to my phone via data cable but it will only go into the music folder and not the sound foulder where you can assign music as ringtones. Can anyone help w/this?

on your phone go to settings - conection set as USB mass storage device. on your computer view files with windows explorer should be portable drive E: . open the window where your ring tone is saved and drag it to the audio folder in the window viewing your phones folders. the ring tone must be under 20 seconds long and under 300 kbps don't know what else your would try but it must be in mp3 or wma format mp3 for best quality

I have a similar issue, I used my SD card to get the optimized MP3 file (210 K) to my phone.
under the "folder" tab i selected Audio and Ringtones option, selected my file and hit Options, then set as ringtone. and i get "Not-acceptable content" what is the deal?
