New LG 600G Tracfone won't work with mobile banking? Old one did!

I used to have a Motorola V170 tracfone, which worked beautifully with several text alerts services, including Chase & Washington Mutual (rip).

I recently got an LG 600g tracfone (for the Bluetooth support, primarily) and had my old phone number and units transferred...only now NONE of my former text alert services work. I get a message saying 'Sorry, this service is unavailable for your current service plan.' WTH? My service and plan is the same - what gives?

Is this because I transferred my old number to this phone, or is it the phone itself?

Any info would be deeply appreciated -- thanks in advance!
